Mining operation fined $7 million for illegally operating in Kaieteur National Park

Wildlife Conservation and Management Bill 2016 passes in the National Assembly

  Georgetown, Guyana- (August 10, 2016) -The National Assembly of Guyana passed the Wildlife Conservation and Management Bill 2016 in the early hours of August 9, 2016, not only paving the way for the better management of the country’s flora and fauna but also bringing the country into compliance with its international o bligations.
